How to choose sheet protectors:
Part 2 – Heavyweight vs. Super Heavyweight

Last time we talked about the light weight sheet protectors and standard weight sheet protectors.  Now lets have a look at the heavyweights and super heavyweights.

These sheet protectors are made with thicker materials and therefore are more durable for everyday use. You can immediately feel the difference between the heavyweights and standard weight material when they are in your hands.

The heavyweights are the perfect sheet protector to work with as the thickness of the material makes them easy to handle. They make great presentations. With the super heavyweight, flipping through them will feel much better and easier, making them most suitable for things like menus, or other documents that you read through on a daily basis or even several times a day.

The difference between the heavyweight and super heavyweight is very much down to the touch and feel. Your personal preference and of cause the very important question of how often they are going to be handled.

If you look at the "weight thermometer" below it is shown that the heavier the weight of the item the stronger it is, were economic weight is the most fragile and least protective sheet protector.

If you want to read a little more about sheet protectors weight, you can visit on our website the 'What Sheet Protector Weight to Choose??' page!  Other than weight, it's also good to understand the sheet protectors material gauge and how it affects them.  Remember to tune in again for Part 3 of How to Choose Sheet Protectors!
